In recent years, many countries have withdrawn their citizenship by investment(CBI) programs. St Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment Program is one of the few remaining passport/ citizenship programs left in the world. The good news is last month, on 9th February, Saint Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit had announced a few attractive citizenship by Investment program changes to entice investors seeking which Caribbean country to choose from. St Kitts & Nevis remains one of the investors’ favorite countries to have a passport in. Not only it is the cheapest Caribbean country to have a passport, but now it boosts the fastest processing time of just 2 months.
St Kitts & Nevis’ new CBI changes mean better savings and best value for all potential Caribbean investors.
The Sustainable Growth Fund has been reinstated until 30th June, 2023.
The savings:
The investment amount for a single applicant and for a family of up to four persons have been reduced by $25,000 to $125,000 and $170,000 respectively.
All SGF donation applications submitted by 30th June, 2023 will have free 60-day accelerated processing!
- Post Approval Government Fee Changes for All Non-Donation Options:
- $35,000 has been lowered to $25,000 for the main applicant
- $20,000 has been lowered to $15,000 for a spouse
- $10,000 has been maintained for any dependent below 18 years old
- $15,000 has been increased from $10,000 for any dependent above 18 years old
- Siblings now pay the regular fees as per their age and not an increased fee to their status as a sibling
- Qualifying Dependent Ages:
- The maximum age for parents and grandparents has been maintained at 55 years old
- The maximum age for siblings and dependent children has been lowered to 25 years old

St Kitts & Nevis’ passport program is not going to last forever. It is best for investors to take advantage of the special savings right now being offered by the government. In our opinion, St Kitts & Nevis do offer the best of Caribbean citizenships.
